I can see her lips look swollen. But if you look below her top lip actually on her teeth is black stuff but yeah I reckon it might be from her getting hit or dirt.. Either way brutal way to go  |

She didn't show them off much in her antemortem photos, but she was wearing braces. I suspect that braces+getting hit in the face combined to create the effect that is troubling you.
