Mexico - Decomposing CJNG Member Found
On 4th February 2022 in Tepalcatepec (Mexico), M.Á.F. + another man were killed during a confrontation with federal forces. 'M' had radioed his men to rescue him, but it was too late + he died from a gunshot wound to his chest. Both men's decomposing bodies were found 2 days later. 'M', aka 'M2', was lieutenant of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) in the Tierra Caliente region. "He was responsible for the ambush that left 13 policemen dead and 6 injured in Aguililla in 2019." The other man was also a member of CJNG.
