Mexico - 2 Women Dead when Gunmen Shoot Family
On the night of 21st January 2020 in Huimanguillo (Mexico), a family were gunned down. 4 armed men arrived on 2 motorbikes + stormed the home. 80 year old M.S.S. + 33 year old L.D.S. were killed. 16 year old G.D.J. + 28 year old 'E' were injured.

My sources indicate that the old lady (mine all say 70 rather than 80 btw, which looks more accurate for the corpse unless she was a very healthy 80) was a well-known local witch/sorceress. She told fortunes and provided folk medicine in her town. The other three were collateral damage, as she was considered the primary target. Witches/fortune tellers are frequently targeted and murdered down there. Many cartels employ them (superstitious lot) and they are an easy target when one cartel attacks another. But many have also been murdered by disgruntled clients who 'lost faith' in the folk remedies and prognostication. |

Thanks for the info, Ved'. Yeah, some articles said that she was in her 70s, but I just went with the one that said specifically 80. If you know for definite, feel free to change it. I wish someone would send over some decent cameras to Mexico, we might get some non-grainy images one day, haha!
