normally in a gunfight your car is as good as a coffin if you aren't able to drive away. this should've been like shooting fish in a barrel, but the gunfight seemed to last for a while. looking at the windshield and other windows of the car it makes me think they were bulletproof. in mexico bulletproof cars are everywhere, anyone can buy one if they have the money. it looked like they were being shot at from the driver's side in the video, but I guess the finishing shots could've come from the passenger side, dealt by the two officers you see running up at the end. |

There's nothing armoured about that Ford Mondeo. They were using what cover they had and the cops just kept shooting until they felt the threat was gone.
