A female was found executed around 16:00 pm in the Veladero park.

The victim, who has not been identified so far, approximately 25-30 years old, was found face down with her hands tied behind her back. She was presumably raped. She had a bullet wound in her left cheek.

At the scene, The local police ordered the lifting and transporting the body for autopsy.

Nelson Matus is one of the best rojas photographers in Mexico. He was one of Nueva Alarma!'s most prolific freelancers for almost ten years. I sourced some of my best images from him from 2009-2012.

Unfortunately, when Alarma! ceased publication after almost 50 years, Mr. Matus set up his own site (the one linked above), but only displays his work with watermarks so heavy that you often cannot even discern the age or gender of the subjects. A damned fucking shame.

I've been in contact with him several times in order to try and purchase clean copies of his images to post here, but it never works out for some reason or another.

In any event, it really is too bad that he went this route. He was (and still is) one of the best in the business for being at the right place, right time, and taking detailed, hi-res shots.
