Mexican Woman (abandoned in Desert)
Morning Patrol: Dead Body Recovered. . . “I am told that Mexico is a terrible place, but there’s nothing in the United States worth dying of thirst out in the desert for.” --Harry L. Hughes III Posted by Harry L. Hughes III at 12:32 PM I conducted a two person rolling patrol in the desert south of Interstate 8 bright and early this morning. Normally, we don’t encounter much illegal alien traffic early in the day. More often than not, we don’t find anything. Today was just a little different. I'm glad I skipped breakfast. Shortly before 9:00AM we came across a dead body in a wash. It appeared to be a Hispanic female and had been there long enough to make a stain on the soil. She was really ripe too. The area was littered with water bottles, clothing and backpacks. It appears that she had a few traveling companions and they left her for the vultures to pick clean. After snapping a few photographs, we immediately notified the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office of our find. We met a deputy out along the main road and guided him to the scene. The deputy we spoke with five minutes before our discovery also returned. He was following our tracks. We told him if we saw anything, we’d let him know. I escorted the deputy to the body and soon found myself handing over my ID and providing my telephone number and other personal information. Fortunately, “my papers” were in order. When asked, what I was doing out there, I stated that I was on a “desert patrol” and a member of the National Socialist Movement. That didn’t get much of a reaction from the deputy. ..... This should be a message for Mexicans to stay on their side of the border. The person we found this morning, learned this lesson the hard way. 100811059 Dead Body DEATH INVEST UNDETER CAUSES Incident Address : W I-8 EXIT 161; BY SONORAN NATIONAL MOUN STANFIELD Time Reported: 08:38 Time Occurred between: 08:38:21 08/11/10 - 08:38:21 08/11/10 Cad Info: RP ADV HE FOUND REMAINS OF A BODY. . . Update: One might have thought I was done after leaving the scene with the Pinal County Sheriff’s office, but I was not. I am not one to let politics get in the way of doing the right thing. This deceased person more than likely had a family that would at least want closure. Since I observed a group known as "Angeles Del Desierto" on a previous patrol searching for a presumed deceased person, I thought they might be able to make better use of my information than the medical examiner’s office. On the evening of August 11, 2010, I decided to make contact with their spokesperson, Carlos Galindo. Carlos Galindo: “Well I hope we can work together regularly Harry on you and your folks letting us know when you find a body. I would like to rush out to the scene and take pictures without disturbing the scene so that we can look at identifying features etc..” Carlos was pleased to hear from me and I provided him with an accurate description of the deceased so an attempt could be made to identify her and notify any next of kin. _______________________________________ |

Re: Mexican Woman (abandoned in Desert)
My personal thoughts are that she was bludgeoned to death. I notice her skull seems misshapen and there is a tear around her eye socket. The dirt and twigs in her rumpled hair make me think there was a scuffle.
