She's just a kid herself and you lose clarity when you are that badly depressed and suicidal. It's a terrible mindset to be in. I appreciate why people think it's selfish but victims are so consumed with 'blackness', they just cannot see a way out. Very sad. |

It's sad that the kids were left behind. On the other hand, if you ever have experienced severe chronic depression, you would know that you can easily go beyond where selfishness is even an issue. Depression can take you over to the point where you no longer have a will. It may be hard for some people to believe this. All it would take to understand is to experience that level of depression for a sufficient period of time. You would believe it then. 100%. I don't wish severe chronic depression on anyone. |
