Mexican Municipal Worker Shot Dead While Leaving Work
On Tuesday morning (24), in the municipality of Cortazar, Guanajuato, a male officer of the Municipal Police was murdered. He was leaving work when unknown assailants opened fire on him and then fled without leaving a trace. Initial reports indicate that the deceased was left inside a silver Toyota Yaris vehicle after he was on his way home from work when he was hit by bullets on multiple occasions. The worker, identified as C.V., was identified as one of a hundred police officers who, in October 2022, was dismissed for their alleged links to crime.  ·  · |
