Mentally Ill Man Kills Mother Wife And Son

A 27 year old man identity not yet revealed, was arrested on suspicion of murdering his mother, his wife and son in the city of Axes in Pernambuco hinterland in the early morning of Wednesday 9th July.

He was arrested by military police shortly after the crime, which happened in the family home. The woman was three months pregnant.

When the EMS arrived at the scene, the man seemed to have some form of psychosis because he was not talking coherently. "He would have strangled and beaten the victims," reported the local police Sergeant.

His mother was 49 years old (not pictured), his wife 26 and son 7.

According to neighbors, the mother of the suspect had mental problems also and shouted a lot, so nobody suspected anything upon hearing shouting in the family home at the time of the crime. They reported that the suspect appeared to be disturbed and stated all day on Tuesday (8th) he was being followed by figures

The man kicked in the door of his mother's house but she managed to escape. The suspect ran after her and killed her on a nearby road. Then he returned to his home, killed his wife and son and set fire to his motorcycle.

Witnesses told police that the suspect was a drug user and had been arrested for rape in Recife. The man fled the scene after committing the crimes and was arrested soon after. Police received calls from neighbors which led to his arrest.

He said he was possessed by an evil spirit and at no time did he show any remorse. It was concluded he has mental problems and was taken to the local Penitentiary awaiting justice.

The evil spirit should have told him to just commit suicide by burning himself with his precious motorbike.
