Men Found Shot Dead in the Street, Betim, Minas Gerais, February 2016
In early February 2016, several men were killed by gunfire on a street in Betim, part of the Belo Horizonte metropolitan region of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Their bodies were documented at the location, but none of the men was identified. The discovery followed by two days the killing of Sarah Carolina da Silva de Souza, 19, by Military Police in Betim. Known as Carolzinha, she headed a faction named the Comando do Morro Vermelho. The shooting occurred before dawn Wednesday, February 3. Police said Sarah Carolina da Silva de Souza fired on two police teams at a funk dance in the São Caetano neighbourhood. Both of the officers who were wounded survived.  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |

looks like police also helped themselves to couple of pair of shoes. someone must've had an eye for good shoes. i see only one victim's shoes put on and others only in their socks. waste of good merchandize is cruelty, i always say. |
