Re: In Memory Of...........
It was horrible what happened on 9/11 and I pray for the victims and families left behind, but other countries deal with this shit on a daily basis. That many at one time , no, but add up the daily/weekly/monthly/yearly tolls. No innocent victim from any country should have to die to further someone elses political/religious agenda. I am thankful I live in America and even more thankful that atrocities like 9/11 are not common events. I fear that someday my America is not going to be so innocent from attacks. God Bless us all.

Re: In Memory Of...........
Being a History buff, and a historical reenactor, I always say, " History ought not be repeated, therefore preserve it.". Thanks to modern day technology, many of these events will hopefully be remembered forever. One good thing did come of this though. Many people have begun to respect first responders. To this day, there are still people waving to my local Fire Dept. including me. Unfortunately, our police force is not what it use to be, and I can't even give them the respect they deserve. But that doesn't mean I won't pull over when I see an officer in distrest. |

Re: In Memory Of...........
i find it really interesting how some people crack jokes about dead women and children but turn into little whiny pussies about 911... and all this "live by the sword die by the sword" bullshit all over the forum - but suddenly it doesn't apply... hope you all feel good about yourselves, i for one wouldn't want to live in america, not anymore.
