In my experience soldiers away from home ask for loved ones and often they include a message to mothers as well as wives.... Pieces of dirt....or those brutalised the vilest aspects by war, are often just full of anger and threats right to the end. Maybe the first is prepared to fight and trained to live whereas the later is just tuned to kill often in vile ways and it strips away the human aspect... maybe a load of crap, but just my thoughts... |
