Yes. People who die from carbon monoxide usually still look almost alive, with rosy cheeks. Something to do with the carbon monoxide binding with the haemoglobin in the blood.

The only way carbon monoxide can kill like that is if a huge amount is in the air and it knocks them out. I'm talking serious amounts here. I'm thinking this is mexico or some other SA country? Mayors son "dies" from Carbon Monoxide poisoning along with the bodyguards? lol...sure  |

Three died in the White House motel. The couple, aged 21 and 25, and their bodyguard (who was in a BMW SUV) aged 38. Cause of death at autopsy given as carbon monoxide poisoning. In a nutshell, a truck was parked in a multistorey car park below the BMW and it was located beside the couple's room. Staff asked the truck driver to turn off the engine but he didn't and defiantly turned up the volume of the radio. Police investigation established that the room and the garage had no ventilation and carbon monoxide caused by the engine of the truck seeped into the couple's room. The bodyguard died above the truck and the young couple on the bed. In social networks it was revealed that the victim was fond of cockfighting and horse racing. It was noted that the young man came to Monterrey on Saturday to attend a derby. Weird story. Two storey garage with no ventilation, a noxious truck at the bottom, BMW at the top right beside their room??? Sounds like a set up over some cockfighting kerfuffle  |
