City officials said evidence implicated militants from the western region of Xinjiang, but this was not verified. Xinjiang is home to the Muslim Uighur minority group which has a long history of discord with Chinese authorities. |

A mass stabbing like this is so unprecedented. I had a bad experience at this exact train station once and I was almost arrested. Blows my mind, seeing these pics...
