Please excuse my ignorance but what is a Market Boat? Is it like a floating grocery that visits ports up and down a stretch of river or big lake and sells food and other items?  |

I'm going to assume that this is the case. I don't know of any here in the US, and I live fairly close to the Mighty Mississippi River.
