A female doctor was shot several times in the head and chest by her husband at the clinic where she worked this week. He was also a physician, formerly employed by the clinic but previously fired from his job due to complaints of sexual harassment from nurses at the clinic.

It seems that the murder was motivated by jealousy, as his wife was leaving him and he believed she had another man lined up.

She died at the scene and he was caught and apprehended later in the day, while in the act of trying to sell the gun he used to commit the murder.
