It's hard to tell how many wounds, because near the top of the breastbone, the assailant went into such a frenzy, and stabbed so many times in a small area, he/she mauled the flesh.

Crime scene pics of a woman whose killer brutally stabbed her and then finished the job by suffocating her with a plastic bag. Judging by the amount of stab wounds.. i think it's safe to say, the knife would have done the trick. i like the last pic - not one you see very often  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |

Now we have two scenarios possible here. Either, one, she died of suffocation, or, two, from stab wounds. I'm gonna kind of lean toward suffocation, being there's not a lot of blood, and those stab wounds are in an area where there are main arteries. Good post, Ms Dudette |
i counted 51 stab wounds i may be wrong
