On the morning of this Monday, July 3, a man who was riding a motorcycle was murdered in the Proletarios sin Tierra cooperative, belonging to Guasmo, south of Guayaquil.

The victim received at least 10 bullets and his body was left lying next to the vehicle in which he was traveling.

According to police information, the man left his home after an individual went looking for him. Each one left on a motorcycle, moments later the victim was riddled with bullets.

A team from the communication medium Ecuavisa that arrived at the scene was intimidated by relatives of the deceased, who intimidated them and demanded that they not record.

It does look like a small caliber round but looking at the “what looks like brain matter” I’m more likely to think it could have been a .223.

He would have been missing the right side of his face if those were .223s

Depending on the trajectory. If you look he *is missing the back of his head. The strike marks look like there’s a bit of an upward angle to them, to me anyway, but it’s just an image from one perspective so no way to actually tell.

looking at the holes on the head, I notice that they are all concentrated on the left ear area and no holes from the left eye, chick and jaw. That means the killer is standing about 1.5m away from the laying down body shooting a rifle rather than a pistol because (1)rifle can be aim and shoot with those closed together hole (2)due to the long rifle even thought the killer is standing 1.5m away but the muzzle can be only 1.0m from the body (3)the holes entrance angle seems to be low (eg. 30-40 deg from the ground). If using pistol, the whole head will be full of holes everywhere. Just guess-timate, might be wrong
