Man + Woman Shot Dead
On the night of 2nd August 2018 in Mossoró, 26 year old Francisco Cleilton de Melo Arruda + 22 year old Joice Larissa da Silva Lucena were shot dead. Joice died at the scene + Francisco died at the hospital. Apparently, 2 people had turned up at the house to kill Francisco. He was outside at the front of the house at the time + ran into the house when he noticed the gunmen. They followed him inside + shot at him + Joice, despite her having nothing to do with whatever Francisco was being killed for. Francisco had been in prison for domestic violence (it states 'against the woman' so I don't know if that's referring to Joice).              On 20th February this year, Francisco had survived a murder attempt by 24 year old Emanuel Elias Dantas de Souza.  On the afternoon of 24th November 2012, Francisco, along with his mother (39 year old Ana Lucia de Melo) + his sister (23 year old Ana Kelly de Melo Arruda Pereira) were arrested for drug trafficking.
