Helium would have been much easier on him...he must have been so determined...fucking bullshit "mental health" system that parrots "reach out, get help" when that's so often a useless void of mindfulness and six weeks for an appointment and think of people worse off than you and suicide crisis lines staffed by volunteers they don't get it and mental health professionals that don't get it either and medications that don't work and "you have to give it a few weeks " and every minute that pain grows bigger and louder and bigger and louder. Tearing at you like demons, burning your soul like acid. Every minute. Six weeks wait for an appointment. Maybe two months, or more. And you know trying to talk to someone who hasn't been through what you've been through won't do shit. No wonder this seemed easier. |
