Re: Man Suffering from PTSD from the Iraq War Wraps His Head in Plastic Wrap
How did he wrap his head with his hands tied ? And it’s wrapped fucking right.

Re: Man Suffering from PTSD from the Iraq War Wraps His Head in Plastic Wrap
Former paramedic here, so I've seen a lot of suicides and the techniques used have always fascinated me. I'm sort of an amateur student of them and rank them by my own scales. This guy used the first truly unique and creative method I've seen in years. I give him a 9.5 on ingenuity. Suck ass way to die, though, and he knew it would be, which is why he had to go to so much trouble to make it escape proof. I give him a 1 on kindness. What I really hate to contemplate is that he may have intentionally chosen an unkind method. He knew perfectly well he could just eat a handgun and feel nothing, or if he didn't want to make a mess he could just get something to OD on. But instead, he knowingly subjected himself to several minutes of slow asphyxiation. Not the worst way to die, but pretty close. |

I’ve never looked at suicide like that. In fact I’ve often mused that I don’t have the constitution to carry out my own demise. I imagine it takes a lot of will power. I’m not sure cowardliness is relevant at all.

Poor guy. He was clean and ordered method showed from his time in the military. I can't imagine what was going through his head to do that to himself. |
