My god, that was one of the most brutal non-beheading videos I've ever seen.
My initial thought was that he made a target of himself by driving a BMW in such a place as that. But then he was run over like three times, thereby making me think that it was of a personal nature.

I watched this a few times and it appears the guy was pulled from the backseat.

After the initial beating, one of the suspects opens the front driver's side door and gets in the car, while the victim is still on the ground next to the car.
