Radiation burns from the Fukushima reactor in Japan. He threw himself over the leak to shield his coworkers from the radiation. The guy is a hero, but paid a heavy price to save his friends.

Did you even bother to read Chris' initial post? He gave a link to the story behind that picture. It did not happen at Fukushima.

pretty old picks there .i seen em years ago pretty ghastly.the story given with the picks i saw had them as severe radiation burns ?.who knows though.the dudes asian aswell from what they said .once again who knows.but i do know their old photos.

i thought it was the japanese nuclear reactor worker who was exposed to massive amounts of radiation

there was 2 of them, one died and this one survived, but they kept him alive to watch the process of whatever the fuck

This man was not skinned. Had he been skinned, he would have bled to death rather quickly. He is the victim of 100% body radiation burns which dissolved his skin, cauterizing his blood vessels and killing him slowly.
