Man Shot to Death in a Bar [Brazil, September 2011]
A man was killed early morning on Sunday in Caruaru. Gleydson Cristian Mendes, 31, lived in José Carlos Vasconcelos street, São João da Escócia. There were at least 200 people when, at around 2:30 am, an unknown man with whom the victim had earlier an argument, came up and shot several times killing the victim on the spot, then fled the scene without being identified. Relatives said that though the victim was a drugs addicted, they believe that it was a crime of passion.
