Man shot dead outside a school yesterday (28th May 2012). .38 caliber capsules were found at the scene.
The victim, a 31 year old ex-convict was approached by an unknown man who was hiding behind the school walls. He ran but was shot down dead. The perp fled on foot.
Family members said the man had been having death threats for a while but did nothing about it.

I'm thinking this guy did something that pissed someone off, perhaps harmed the shooter's family and he took out his revenge. And those are at least .223 rounds...but they do appear fatter. I would agree with the .38 caliber statement.
