Man Shot Dead in His Wheelchair
In Camamu, at around 10am, 8th October 2015, 43 year old João de Santana Santos (commonly known as João Cadeirante), was shot dead. João who was suspected to have been killed because of drug trafficking, was shot in his kitchen whilst sitting in his wheelchair.      Less than 3 months earlier, on 22nd July 2015, João + 19 year old Reinaldo de Jesus Santos, were arrested. In their possession were marijuana, crack, homemade weapons + money. The amount of drugs seized were as follows: 148 crack stones ready for trade 1 large crack stone weighing 10g 15 bundles of marijuana 1 tablet of marijuana weighing 65g R$ 320 2 handmade weapons: a garruncha and another simulacrum *I have no idea about drugs or guns so the above is straight from the translation.'   |

I thought the age was odd too. He certainly doesn't look 43 in the first photo.

No, the man in the wheelchair next to the man standing is the one who was killed. I put those 2 photos separate to the main photos + under the text about when he was caught with drugs + weapons.
