Man Shot Dead
On 13th June 2014 in Teixeira de Freitas, 28 year old João Brito Costa Filho was murdered when he left for work at an old people's home. Someone in a van + 2 people on a motorbike approached João + fired around 12 shots. He received shots to his head, mouth, neck, chest, forearm + shoulder. According to João's brother-in-law, João was serving a sentence for a murder committed 6 years ago + was complying with the semi-open regime. |
