Re: Man (possibly) Accidently Kills His Elderly Mother
Instead of dripping the liquid directly into the eye just gently put the nozzle on the outside of the eye lid and administer the 'drop' .. sounds stupid but my son is registered blind and has had to have drops for tests, his ophthalmologist showed me this technique

Re: Man (possibly) Accidently Kills His Elderly Mother
I'm willing to bet it was a subdural hematoma secondary to her bridging veins tearing. People's brains shrink ever so slightly with age.. When you get to be 60 it is noticeable... when you're 85 the brain has shrunk enough to where there's enough room inside the cranial vault for the brain to move around and accelerate BIG TIME... when an old person hits their head THEIR FUCKING BRAIN MOVES FAR and it ROCKS & smashes inside the skull violently... furthermore it can move so far that certain veins inside called bridging veins, which connect the skull to the brain can tear... leading to a cerebral hemorrhage. At least she died knowing that it was accidental, with good intentions, and that there was someone there who cared about her. |

Thanks! I shall use that technique in the future. Used to loathe doing that for patients in acute care. I felt so bad for them.
