Man Poisons Himself to Death
The body of a man was found around 8:30 a.m. this Saturday morning (8) on US-367, about five miles from downtown Eunápolis. Apparently the man committed suicide because, beside the body, had leftover sandwich and soda mixed with the poison known as BB - substance used as rat poison, whose sale is banned in Brazil since October 2012. Moreover, he left a farewell letter to his mother's house. Death may have occurred on Wednesday, the 5th, the date on which the ticket was written. That same day, he had phoned relatives. The mother said her son lived nine years in the state of Espírito Santo and who had returned to Eunápolis two months ago. The man's body was covered in mud, indicating that he had rolled on the floor when he was dying because of the effect of the substance. The delegate warns that despite the sale being prohibited, the pellet is easily found in some stores in downtown Eunápolis. A farmer who was in the area had spotted the corpse inside an abandoned building across the Delta Park subdivision. |
