I think that in my professional opinion, the victim saw the perpetrator and tried to avoid death by quickly removing his flip-flops. Unfortunatley, the timely removal of the flip-flops was interrupted by multiple stabbings to the face, neck, throat, stomach, and back. I say that we all could learn a lesson and carry our flip-flops in hand when we travel abroad.
