Exactly what I was thinking, damn those PTO's make a mess, I live in a farming community and used to do field work on combines tractors etc and only once did I find the PTO had the gaurd on it.

Yes, They are EXTREMELY powerful. When I was a call out Engineer, We managed to build a weird looking wind up catapult. Fired a 250kg weight from it. Never did find the weight and we were looking for hours!! |

An old Boss of mine survived one. Tore all his clothes off, but no major injuries. His hair went completely white, though. He was going around that shaft for over a half hour before his Daughter went looking for him.
