Around 20:20 this Friday, June 7, 2013, a garrison of Military Police was responded to a homicide. The crime happened in Itararé Street, in the neighborhood Vila Feliz in Teixeira de Freitas. The victim has been identified as Jeremiah Jesus Costa, 18 years old, resident of the city of St. Matthew / ES.

According to information from a cousin of the victim, Jeremiah had arrived in Teixeira de Freitas 20 days prior. Jeremiah was playing with a child in the street, when a motorcycle with two men stopped, called Jeremiah over then shot him. The victim fell to the floor lifeless. His cousin said that he saw neither the killers nor could describe the bike (it was all very quick).

A team of civilian police and experts DPT, underwent forensic search at the location. According to the expert, the victim was hit with two shots, one in the right shoulder and the other on the back with a bullet lodged. The sheriff filed a police inquiry to investigate the circumstances of the crime.
