Man on Motorcycle Killed After Striking A Van
The man on this motorcycle was killed after the bike he was driving crashed into a van. The man was wearing a helmet but as you can see it didn't help him much.

Thing about bikes, is weird- most are mangled and torn apart, yet, my dad died from his bike wreck and no outward injuries. Snapped off a wooden roadpost sign 18" above the ground w/ the left side of his chest- broke every rib on that side, separated them from the chest, destroyed one kidney and his spleen and severely damaged the other kidney, his liver and his pancreas- life-flighted him to the hospital, between 6 pm that day and 6 am the next morning he took 23 units of blood, but lived for 2 weeks. His helmet protected the brainpan and he was conscious until they medically induced a coma, he was a TOUGH old fart and died doing what he liked doing. RIP dad, miss you.
