Man Leaves Home to Make a Bank Deposit and is Found Dead in His Car

A man whose first name would be "A" who had been missing since the end of the afternoon was found dead around 8:30 pm this Thursday, 1st, on Avenida Rio *****, Santo Agostinho neighborhood, West Zone of Manaus.

The body was in the passenger seat of a luxury Corolla model vehicle, and police have already confirmed that the man was murdered with shots to the head. Several 9 mm caliber pistol capsules that were inside and outside the car were collected by the investigation team of the Homicide Police Station.

“A” left the house in the late afternoon to make a bank deposit, according to family members, who were at the crime scene and confirmed they were the first to locate him through the car's tracking system.

The police verified that there were no bullet holes inside the Corolla. The preliminary suspicion is that people who were inside the vehicle with the victim were the authors of the firearm shots. "A's" cell phone and money were also missing.

The body was examined, but the criminal expert did not confirm how many shots were fired at the body of the man executed inside his car on Thursday night, after leaving the house to go to the bank, according to what he said to the family.

While the police were at the scene, no eyewitnesses appeared to provide further information that could help identify whether only one or more people participated in the crime. The Police Station Specialized in Homicide and Kidnapping (DEHS) will further investigate this execution by shooting in Manaus.
