Looks peaceful. Like Cads said, quick and painless. Although I wouldn't like the bit where I was waiting for the train to go over my neck! I'd probably lift my head up at the wrong time to see if it was coming, then just get knocked out!!! |

This happens with some regularity here in Tucson. In fact, it will probably be soon enough for the next one, considering the temps which start hitting this time of year. It would be painless tho major anxiety waiting. |

With as many human vs train accidents I've seen over the years, it always amazes me that there's so little blood considering the damage. In looking at the actual cut it's like the outer train wheel sort of pinches the blood vessels off as the inner train wheel slices the skin. It almost looks cauterized to a degree. I'm not sure if the heat from the friction of the wheels plays a part and really does cauterize the wounds or if it just seals the cut.
