Man Killed by Three Pit Bulls

"An 83 year old man died at the dawn of this Saturday (January 7th) in São Gonçalo, after being attacked by three dogs of the breed pit bull. The case happened on 18th of Fort Avenue, in the mutual neighbourhood, near the city centre.

The victim was identified as Ary O. m by the Fire Corps. According to the corporation, he died at the scene before help arrive."

I wonder if they were his dogs, or if he was delivering/ setting up a food stall, and they attacked him? I hope they killed them. Poor dude- that has to be an agonizing, horrifying death for an old man...

According to a witness he tried to defend a smaller dog being attacked by the trio and therefore the dogs focuses their attention on him: another man tried to stop them, but no luck. The dogs owner was summoned by the police and will likely be charged with manslaughter by culpable negligence.
