Grief is a natural reaction, never manufactured.
Respectfully, I disagree. I have seen a great deal of 'grief' that is exaggerated in order to generate attention. The grief itself may, at its core, be somewhat real...but the way it is manifested is designed more to call attention to the aggrieved than to actually mourn for the lost.

In any event, that is clearly not the case in this photo.
