Man Killed His Friend then Himself After Suspecting Affair with His Girlfriend
At 8am on 1st April 2019 in Los Mina (Dominican Republic), the body of L.A.A.R., a captain of the national police, was found inside the wardrobe of a motel. He had a rope tied around his neck from an attempt at hanging himself, this failed so he shot himself dead. The previous night, 'L' had tried to kill his girlfriend 41 year old K.M.M.H., but ended up killing a man. The man who died was 57 year old J.W.U.M. who was shot. 'K' was left seriously injured after being shot 4 times. 2 others, 29 year old R.D.M.R. + 41 year old G.A., were also injured. The captain fled the scene. It's thought that he had suspected 'K' had been unfaithful to him with 'J', a childhood friend of his. The 2 children of the couple, a 10 year old boy + a baby who's a few months old, witnessed the murder.

Jesus, a 10-year-old child witnessing the murder I don't recall I've ever seen pics or vids from Dominican Republic on here. When it comes to Latin America, it seems Mexico and Brazil are the biggest players providing the most material. |

A lot of my threads have been from the Domican Republic, there's a fair amount on here. Oh + the DR is in the Carribean not South America, though I think a lot of people think it is.

Re: Man Killed His Friend then Himself After Suspecting Affair with His Girlfriend
Ah, ok! I'm not always very active here, so therefore I might've missed some of your or someone else's content hailing from the Dominican Republic. Re the term "Latin America": yeah, I agree "Caribbean" is a more accurate one when describing the geographical location of D. Republic. Sometimes I'm a bit too quick to lump all the Spanish/Portuguese-speaking countries located in America into the "Latin America" category. It might be handy and time-saving but not necessarily precise. Darn, who would've guessed Documenting Reality would be a great geography lesson as well? |
