Man Killed As Bike Ploughs Into Ford Escort
On Monday 20th October, a 35yo man who lived in rural Caruaru died in an accident and his wife was seriously injured. Three vehicles were involved in the accident, a Honda motorcycle; a red Escort and a silver Golf. Witnesses said the victim had been to the local hospital with his wife who was experiencing a difficult pregnancy. She was 7 months gone and high risk. When they were returning home they hit the side of the Escort killing the dad-to-be and seriously injuring his wife who was on the bike also. She sustained a serious brain injury. Apparently the Escort (drunk driver, he ran away on foot) hit the Golf and lost control and the motorbike ploughed straight into it, literally   ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |
