The accident occurred on the evening of Sunday 26th May in Agrestina, Brazil.

According to Police, a blue Fiat Uno hit the horse as it crossed the road. The driver of the car, a farmer aged 63, failed to stop or even divert the vehicle and hit the horse.

The old man died instantly and four other people inside the car suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital.

After removal, the body of the driver was taken to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Caruaru

They should make houses wear reflective vests or little lights on their horsie heads to avoid these collisions. Maybe the horse committed suicide? A car hitting a horse is kinda ironic though.
