Man Hit By Light Rail Train
58 year old man in Baltimore City was hit by a train and died Thursday morning May 10, 2018. BALTIMORE (WJZ)CBS — It was a death that stretched out over a number of city blocks after a man was struck by a Light Rail train during Baltimore’s morning rush hour. Six blocks of Howard Street were blocked off by police shortly after 8:30 am. Thursday. The man who was struck died at the scene. “It’s a large scene that spans several blocks. We don’t know how the incident occurred. that’s what we’re trying to find out,” Baltimore City Police spokesperson T.J. Smith said. It’s not known if the man was crossing at a corner or in the middle of the street. Signs are posted in the area warning cars and drivers to watch out for the trains. Because the accident happened during rush hour, police are hoping the public can help. “We’re asking anyone that has information, whether it be pictures or video, to forward that information to us,” Smith said.  ·  ·  · |

Wow, how freaking fast was the light rail going???? Hard to believe that it would cut a man in half. Really difficult to believe that one.  |
