Man + His Wife Murdered + Police Kill 3 of the Murderers
On 3rd December 2017 in La Cueva, 26 year old S.M.P., a barber + his 20 year old wife, A.D.B.E., were killed inside their barbershop. 'A' was 3 months pregnant. Several days previously, a relative of the couple had hired someone to kill another man. The son of the man killed, hired 5 men to take the lives of the couple, in retaliation + for an apparent drug debt. During a police chase, the police killed 3 of the murderers + injured 2 others.

Perhaps an 'equality' issue? Where 'man and wife' suggests the 'man' is an individual, multi faceted entity and the 'wife' is a reduction to the role of the man's spouse (i.e. dismissive of her worth in any other aspect). 'Husband and wife', 'man and woman' would both give each person an equal level of representation. |

The way the other person worded it, it doesn't seem like they were getting at equality. Since they put 'man + HIS woman' - like she's a possession that belongs to him. Some people just like starting shit on here.
