Man in His Sixties Found Skeletonized in Przemyśl, Poland, January 2023
A man in his sixties was last seen in the Przemyśl district of southeastern Poland on December 19, 2022. His remains were found there in the first days of January 2023. Much of the torso was skeletonized, while the man's clothing and boots remained substantially intact. The regional nature conservator said it could not be determined which species left traces on the remains. A forensic expert could not categorically determine how the man died, and the cause of death was never established. The case was investigated by police and the prosecutor's office in Przemyśl. Questions concerning possible animal involvement were later referred to the national nature conservator and the environment ministry.  ·  ·  · |
