100 per cent. I had no idea I was so good at faking being happy until close friends were shocked to learn I was severely depressed... because they noticed I basically hadn't left my house in months. Spent so long in bed I compressed the lateral cutaneous nerve of the thigh - numb thigh for a month or so. Lost noticeable muscle mass, etc etc etc. Nobody suspected... but hey, we all know the person who squawks constantly about their lot. Fuck that guy.
