A man was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Harlingen, according to the Texas DPS.
The fatal collision happened around 5:10 p.m., on westbound Expressway 83 near the Bass Boulevard exit.
DPS said two vehicles were involved in the collision.
David Z. was the tow truck driver/owner of Steel Towing. He was struck this afternoon in the expressway and passed away.
I'm wondering how he got cut in half. It seems as if the tow truck backend/edge is too high.
