Re: Man Gets Dismembered in Mexico Over Gasoline
I was referring to the turmoil caused by internal migrations during the Mexican-American War. The Mexican-American War was very much the US making good on a threat to march on Mexican territories if Mexico continued to make incursions into Texas. Mexico subsequently attacked two American dragoon companies totaling 80 men with a force of 1,600, prompting the US Congress to issue a declaration of war. That has nothing to do with blame, it is historical fact. I actually don't know how you could possibly read an assignation of blame into anything I wrote, or what the US giving Mexico aid money has to do with historical violence. But that's ok. Regardless, even though it wasn't my intention here, I have earned the right to criticize my government and I will do so as I please. |
