It was 8 o'clock in the morning, the employees of a company were minding their own business and chatting about football when one of them spotted smoke rising from the middle of the plantation:
the smartest of them said that something was burning for sure, maybe a dead body, so they decided to take a look: when they arrived at the site, their worst fears were confirmed: they found the man lifeless, but NOT flipflopless.
The victim was wearing black shirt, blue shorts and a pair of flippies model Havaianas 4.2 Waterproof + Semi-Fireproof© .
The fire spread and burned a good portion of the forest, leaving a wonderful scent of burned eucalyptus.
