Man Found with Half His Face Devoured by the Fishes
The body of a man whose face was almost devoured by fish was found early on Saturday afternoon, 16, floating near the beach in the municipality of Maués, 259 kilometers from Manaus. According to information, a group of fishermen found the body floating and took it to the beach after the 10th Independent Company of the Military Police (CIPM) and the 49th Interactive Civil Police Station were informed. It was also not informed until mid-afternoon today, by the municipal police authorities, if the man has already been identified and if there are indications that he was murdered and thrown into the river or if he was only a drowning victim. Some photographs published in WhatsApp groups and on social networks, by some residents of the community where the body floated, show that the man wore a black long-sleeved shirt and shorts in various colors. The Maués Interactive Police Station should investigate the case and in the next few hours should also disclose more information, as soon as the man found floating and with his face quite devoured by fish, will be identified by his family. The description reads "Face devoured by THE fishes". It sounds as if authorities are aware of the actual school of fishes responsible for this horrendous crime. Otherwise it would have read "Face devoured by fishes" thus implicating ALL fish in the area. I'm sure the local detectives Gill Netzlar and Marlin Spiro are hot on the case, Buena Suerte gentleman!
