On Monday Dec 8, 2014, there were some rumors that a person had fallen into the river. However, officers who receive the information when making queries found nothing and the case was closed.

On the morning of Saturday Dec 13, 2014, another complaint came was called in, that a body had been located within the river. Immediately teams DF Fire Department were moved to the site and found the body of a man in an advanced stage of decomposition.

The victim identified by Francimar, 40, resident of the neighborhood, was the same object of the earlier complaint. According to information the victim was an alcoholic and was drunk when he fell into the hole which borders his residence.

Preliminary Information realized the reason the victim had not been found on Monday was because a strong storm after the accident had carried the body to another location.
