Man Dragged for 40km by a Truck
In San José on 8th June 2018, 62 year old Gervasio Giménez died from being dragged for 40km by a truck. Truck driver, 41 year old Erasmo Claudir Dos Santos, had unknowingly knocked Gervasio off his motorbike. His body became stuck to the back of the truck. The grim scene was noticed by the Mission Road Safety Patrol + stopped the truck. Erasmo had no clue that he had been dragging a dead body. Motorists had contacted the police when they found Gervasio's motorbike in the road, completely destroyed. |

If he was alive he would have either climbed on the back or worked himself loose.

Re: Man Dragged for 40km by a Truck
When I lived in Manhattan, I remember one morning a man was hit by a big work truck but the truck had absolutely no idea. The horrified witnesses reported seeing it but didn’t have the license plate. Authorities were searching. It wasn’t until the man stopped at a gas station way outside of the city, a couple of hours later, that he saw parts of the pedestrian were still stuck to his vehicle. I’ll try finding the media on the incident, because it was gruesome indeed and everyone was talking about it.
